<p style="text-align: justify;">We at Emmanuel school accept each student as a sacred trust from God. We seek to build up the total personality of the child by providing an all-round education. We train our students to be environmental friendly, problem solvers, achievers, users of technology effective communicators and lifelong learners in a rapidly changing global community.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Our students are trained by mentors to think rationally, scientifically, spiritually, creatively and positively. We also instill in our students our great culture and heritage. We encourage our students to have the big picture and then learn to focus. We coach our students to use their God given skills. We want each student to have a mind to think beyond conventions, to have the courage to act on those convictions.</p>

It affords me a great sense of pride to have you all with us on the highly festive and momentous occasion when Emmanuel Mission School Talwandi is celebrating another Annual Day with all pomp and gaiety.</b></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Today is a very special day for all of us as we rejoice in the success we have achieved and look forward with a sense of hope towards greater growth &amp; progress.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">We are proud to acknowledge the good results in academics, co-curricular & extracurricular activities this year. I proudly place before you this Annual Report.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In the field of academics in AISSCE 150 students appeared out of which 64 were distinction holders. Master Rahul Singhal S/o M G Singhal was the topper in science with 94% followed by Master Kapil Gautam S/o Shri Mahesh Chandra Gautam with 90.8 %. Master Rahul Singhal has also secured All India Rank 18 in IIT-JEE 2011. Master Archit Gupta S/o Shri M K Gupta of Class XII secured All India Rank 14 in IIT-JEE 2011. 10 students of class XII got selected to IITs this year. Master Rahul Singhal and Master Archit Gupta are recipient of Merit Certificate awarded by CBSE.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In the Commerce group Miss Lavisha Jain D/o Mr. R K Jain topped the class with 89.4% followed by Miss Abhishansha Sharma D/o Mr. V K Sharma with 84.7. All the Commerce students who appeared for CPT Exam conducted by Chartered Accountant Institute of India have been selected.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In class x four of our children secured the magical perfect 10 Points CGPA in the Board Examination. They are Master Kartik Mittal S/o Mr. Yogesh Mittal, Miss Radhika Garg D/o Mr. Rupesh Garg, Master Shivam Mishra S/o Shri Shubhrant Mishra and Master Shubham Mittal S/o Shri Shiv Shanker Mittal.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Our children not only perform in academics they excel in Extra curricular activities as well. Master Sajal Srivastava of class XII stood 3rd in Dainik Bhaskar talent quest and won Rs. 72000 as a cash award.master Anumitra Banerjee of class XII and master Akash waghela of class XI stood 1st in the Debate Competition held by CBSE Sahodya Complex.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In the sports segment our basket ball team brought laurels to Kota by winning the championship in CBSE cluster held at Alwar. Master Nikhil Khatri S/o Mr. Dinesh Khatri was awarded the best player in the tournament. The team went on to play Nationals at Chennai and reached the quarter-finals.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The same team won the championship in the tournament held by Sahodaya complex for the CBSE schools of Kota. The school Junior team participated in the National Tennis Football held at Sholapur Maharashtra. Master Abhishek Suman S/o Mr.Ramesh Chandra Suman was declared the best player. Our School Team participated in the National Flying Disc Championship held at Daman &amp; Diu and won Silver Medal.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">We also won the District Championship in Table Tennis in under14 boys category. The team went on to play the state level at jaisalmer.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In the inter Emmanuel School Sports organized by the Emmanuel School Society our school participated in various games and won Prizes.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Now I would like to present a glimpse of the year gone by at Emmanuel.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">We began the year’s activities with our love for nature. In our ceaseless Endeavour for environment conservation we organized an environment week. Environment protection, promotion and conservation were the goals of different multifarious activities conducted this week.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">We concluded with a rally where our budding environmentalist voiced their concern through slogans and distributed sapling in the neighborhood.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In continuation with the love for nature the students participated in the wild life week organized by Hadoti Naturalistic society and won several prizes.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Under the banner of Spic Macay Our school organized a concept of kathakali by maestro Kalamandalam Gopi. The maestro demonstrated intricacies of Nav Ras just by facial expression to the utter amazements of the children. A Chhau Dance which is an Indian tribal martial dance was also shown to the children on Gandhi Jayanti.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">This year we have introduced many new activity namely Judo, NCC, Scout &amp; Guides.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The School not only caters to building the mental strength but it plays an equally responsible role in building physical strength of the students. Judo techniques downplay strength as a pre-requisite for overcoming an opponent. It is considered as an ideal self defense regardless of an individual's size.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">We are honoured to introduce NCC Air Wing this year. It was inaugurated by Wing Commander Rajeev Pandey. NCC training provides a platform for student's upliftment through the process of channelizing the energy of the Youth in constrictive pursuits. It includes in the youth a sense of nationalism and secular outlook that contributes towards the building of the nation. This year 30 students of classes VIII and IX have the privilege of being trained.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Learning is not a classroom activity alone. To keep the tempo of learning alive even during vacations the school organized a summer camp where many activities such as dance, music, skating, drawing &amp; painting besides sports and games were organized for the students.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Students are encouraged to play their part in community services within the school. The school is committed in inculcating in students, awareness and appreciation of their social responsibility. With this motto a fete was organized in the school on the children’s day where the children proved that they are miniature model of their parents in the business skills.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">We conducted various Inter House competitions this year. It began with the initiation ceremony followed by number of activities throughout the year. Songs, Dance, Rangoli, Spellathon, Skit &amp; Pantomime are to name a few.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Each individual is unique with different set of abilities. Identifying and optimizing these abilities while preparing an individual for life and the world of work is one of the most important and meaningful purpose of education. Here, parents and teachers are co partners in building up a child. With this in mind the school arranged a counseling session for the parents, which was facilitated by Mr. Akhilesh Jain.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The secondary stage coincides with the onset of adolescence and beginning of career concepts. This stage becomes the most defining phase as it influences higher studies and career choices later in life. To help the students of classes IX and X to select the stream for higher studies a career counseling session was organized for them on 19th July 2011.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Our Little Champs nursery school is all about fun and frolic. It is all about experiencing the fullness of life say speaking a language, reading a story, exploring computers, music, dance, drawing etc. And what Little Champs learn is curiosity, compassion, confidence and courage – the virtues that last a lifetime. These Little Champs are no less than their seniors. They too had a number of fun filled activity and competitions throughout the year. A few of their activities are displayed in front of you.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Let me conclude my report by expressing my sincere thanks to our chief guest Col. Rajeev Saxena who has so graciously accepted our invitation to be with us this evening. I will fail in my duty if I do not thank Dr. Samuel Thomas the President of the Institution who has been my mentor &amp; guide and gave me the motivation while I continue to serve the institution. I take this opportunity to thank all the members of the staff for being ever-ready to render their services for betterment of students and the growth of the institution. Finally let me thank each one of you dear parents, past pupils and well wishers for your kind cooperation extended to us in the past. I look forward for similar cooperation in the years ahead.</p>
